Maulana Azad International Essay Competition
Every year, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations organizes the Maulana Azad International Essay Competition in English, Hindi, Urdu and Arabic languages. This competition is open to  students of accredited universities and research institutions located in Asia.
Topics are wide-ranging, and should be written in bold on the envelope.

Eligibility:
  • Participants should be a student of an accredited university or research institutions located in Asia only. A certificate to this effect obtained from the university or institution and a passport-sized photograph must be enclosed with the entries.
  • To participate, you have to be under 30 years of age.
Application details:
  • The essays should be typed double-spaced, or written in calligraphy (for Urdu and Arabic).
  • Submit four essays -- one original copy, and three photocopied ones. Each page should be clearly numbered. The length of the essay must be accompanied an abstract summery of 500 words.
  • Only one essay may be submitted per participant.
